March 17-18 Bulverde, TX

It is 303 miles from Fort Stockton, TX to Bulverde, just north of San Antonio, TX. We spent 2 nights at the Texas 281 RV Park http://www.texascampgrounds.com/texas%20281%20rv%20park.php

After getting parked on Tuesday, we rested a while, then went into San Antonio to have dinner with my Aunt.

Wednesday, we went to Sisterdale to visit the Sister Creek Winery http://www.sistercreekvineyards.com/ .

As you can see it is just an old barn type building with a great personality. We visited this winery last year and we enjoyed the wine so much that it was a "must visit" place.


Needless to say, we left with several bottles of their excellent wine. Of course, that was the purpose of the visit.








This is the young man that was at the winery last year and this year A very personable guy that really knows his wines.

We returned to the campground, and I went back to San Antonio to spend the afternoon visiting with my aunt.
