After we returned home in July, 2008, I did not continue writing this blog. We did a few trips, but nothing really "exciting". As we have done each year, in October, we took the motorhome to Outdoor Resorts in Indio for the winter season.

We had also decided to purchase a home in Indio. We closed on the house in early October and spent the next 3 months doing necessary upgrades before moving in.

In January, 2009, we finally moved into our new home. It is a great little place--easy upkeep to allow for more traveling. There is an attached RV garage for when we are at home. The center picture shows the courtyard from the front door. The door shown goes into the casita. Then you see the patio and back of the house. Our back yard is the golf course.
