March 13-14 Indio, CA to Tempe, AZ

Driving distance---257 miles.

We left Indio on Friday morning and drove to the Elks Lodge in Tempe, AZ .



We had several friends from our Southwest Country Coach RV club that were there for baseball spring training.




We left Indio a couple of days early so we could visit with them.


We knew that the RV parking area was full, but dry camping is no problem.





There were 4 couples already there, Brenda & Lonnie, Carol & Sam, and Miranda & Bill. Sam was not feeling well and did not come out for the picture.

Nicki & Paul were staying at an RV park a little bit out of town and came in on Saturday evening.






Jerry was the chef and cooked a couple of great Tri-Tips.


Lots of other great food was brought by the ladies.








Of course, no gathering of RVers is complete without lots of food, and this time was no exception.
