December 18, 2007 we took possession of our new motorhome in Phoenix, AZ. We waited to get it until we knew that we would have things in order to be able to travel for several months to comply with a California state law regarding sales tax.
We traded in our 42' quad slide 2005 Country Coach Magna for the Foretravel which is 40' triple slide. It was amazing how much more storage is in the Foretravel. After emptying the Magna, I had a bunch of empty cabinets. Of course, they did not stay empty long!
We leased out our home in Riverside, CA and started packing. We stored everything in the RV garage and got ready to hit the road. The tenents took possession around Feb. 15, 2008. We went to our lot in Indio, CA at Outdoor Resorts http://orindio.com/ to finish getting the motor home organized and stuff arranged.
